Meagher Park, Halifax NS
A small park in the heart of Halifax was selected for a 2023 renovation as it required remediation following the resettling of residents from a houseless encampment. Restoring the park for all residents to enjoy will help bring healing and hope to the community members, as well as a safe and healthy space to gather and enjoy.
Green spaces are beneficial to our mental and physical health, and a new plan for the park has been developed including lighting, walkways, benches, new plantings, and sod.
